A lot of you are coming in from out of town, so we’ve gone ahead and reserved a block of rooms at a hotel very close to the wedding site, for your convenience! Feel free to take advantage of this discounted rate whether you need to, or just want to stay closer to the wedding in a hotel with other wedding guests!

Reservations are refundable and no deposit is required (ie. you do not have to pay ahead of time, and you can cancel your room if you need to).

The blocked-off rooms include King Bed rooms (sleeps 2) or 2-Double Bed rooms (sleeps up to 4). Both types of rooms are $79/night for the nights we blocked off. All of the rooms in the block are available for Friday night (the night before the wedding) and Saturday night (the night of the wedding). There are a limited number reserved for the two days around those (Thursday and Sunday night). We suggest booking as soon as possible if you want those “shoulder” nights.

There will be a complimentary shuttle between the hotel and the wedding. You can indicate your intention to use the shuttle when you RSVP. That way, we can send you the shuttle information by email ahead of time.

Flying in? There is also a complimentary shuttle to and from Dulles Airport! Please refer to the hotel’s website for more information regarding the airport shuttle.

Pretty much everything you could ever want to know about the hotel is on their website, but here are a few callouts:

1. Yes, there is a pool. And a 24-hour fitness center.
2. There’s a restaurant and bar in the hotel. Kids under 12 eat free at the restaurant. The bar is open until 1am on the weekends, though they might keep it open later if there’s a lot of people there.
3. In addition to the restaurant, there’s about a gazillion food places within a super short walk (~1 minute, walk) of the hotel: Willard’s BBQ [the best BBQ joint in the area!], McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Chick-fil-A, Burger King, Hooters, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, & Arby’s.

There are plenty of nice hotels in the area (due to our wedding’s proximity to Dulles Airport), so feel free to make other arrangements if you like!
